A stitch type I 'invented' by accident, and have not seen this stitch in any books or websites, but who knows, perhaps someone else has invented this, too.
Suits for thick yarn. When done with thin yarn, the outcome is quite lacy.
- 1 loop around thumb, pick it up from back to front
- pick up 1 loop behind the thumb
- push needle under needle yarn only (not under thumb loop)
