Börstil 2 (Uppland area, Sweden; by Rothquist Ericsson)
Hald says in her book that this stich was used in milk strainers in Lapland, and Nordland writes in his book this stich was used in hair strainers in northern (Lappish) and western parts of both Sweden and Norway.

On the English Nalbinding group in Yahoo, someone were remembering that Larry Schmitt had named this stith type Danish Stitch because some decades ago this stitch type was popular among Danish hobbyists.
