Hansen's Notation UUU/OOOU F4

This stitch was used in Saint Simeon's hat, found in Trier, Germany, estimated about 1000 CE. 

The stitch itself is similar to Saltdal Stitch and Vad Stitch, but the connection stitch is different, F4 i.e. one new and  three old loops.
