This stitch is described in Ulrike Classen-Büttner's book Nadelbinden - Was ist denn das? (2012). Since this stitch hasn't got any other name, Ulrike has started to call it Zora Stitch. Zora is a little girl who visited a Mediaval Faire for the first time, wearing shoes made in this stitch.
